Release date:2026-10

Release date:2026-10-07

On 25 March 2026, the Silesia BESS Project in Poland was successfully connected to the Polish grid, with all battery energy storage systems (BESS) and lithium-ion cells supplied by Rongjie Energy. The 10 MW / 20 MWh project uses non-recourse project financing and marks an important step in the collaboration between Rongjie Energy and FullSet Energy in the European energy storage market.

Located in Jelenia Góra in Poland’s Lower Silesia region, the project is owned by FullSet Energy. It is designed to provide grid flexibility and energy balancing services and to participate in the Polish electricity market.

Rongjie Energy supplied containerised BESS units and lithium-ion battery cells. The scope of supply includes lithium-ion cells, battery racks, battery management systems (BMS), and all associated DC-side equipment and components, covering the complete supply from cells to containerised storage systems. The project’s power conversion systems (PCS) were supplied by Clou Electronics.

The project secured non-recourse project financing from Erste Bank Polska S.A. and reached financial close on 30 July 2025. The financing covered project development, procurement, construction and commissioning, providing funding support for project implementation.

Following grid connection, the project entered commissioning and operational testing in accordance with the technical and operational requirements of the relevant Polish grid operator. This collaboration expands Rongjie Energy’s energy storage deployments in Europe and adds to its experience in serving local grid and electricity market needs.
